This month let's focus on comprehension. Now that your child is reading higher leveled books, there is much more content to absorb. It can be very difficult to focus on the story if the child is struggling with sounding out the words. Once your child can read the story with ease, make sure you discuss the book. Some great questions are: Did you enjoy the book? Why? Why did you read it? (to learn or for enjoyment), Can you retell the story? Who were the characters?, Why did the events happen as they did?, and What do you think might happen in the next book?

Our class lines up by the ramp at our trailer at 8:30 a.m. On half days, the pick-up time is 1:00. On full days, the pick-up time is 2:40. If someone special is picking up your child, please send me a note or email as soon as possible.
We have gym on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please make sure that your child wears sneakers on those days. Music is on Wednesdays and Art is on Mondays. Steam is on Thursdays.
